The smallest Mercedes crossover gets a bigger base price for 2021. The redesigned 2021 GLA now starts at $37,280, a $2035 increase from its predecessor. That’s for the front-wheel-drive GLA250 model with a 221-hp turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four. Like before, 4Matic all-wheel drive is a $2000 option. It is still the cheapest Mercedes SUV you can buy, just undercutting the slightly larger GLB250 that starts at $39,045.
Mercedes hasn’t yet announced pricing for the GLA250’s many option packages, but we have no doubt that fully loaded versions will go well past the $50,000 mark. Standard equipment for the GLA250 includes LED headlights and taillights, 18-inch wheels, and an MBUX
