- A U.K. company called GTO Engineering is planning to build a modernized version of a Ferrari 250 GT.
- The car will be built around a carbon-fiber body shell and use a V-12 engine.
- Expect a price well north of $1 million.
UPDATE 2/24/2021: GTO Engineering says interest has been high enough to see Project Moderna greenlit to make production. The company confirms that the finished car will weigh under 2200 pounds and have both a naturally aspirated V-12 engine and a manual gearbox, and that the finished version will use both carbon and aluminum bodywork. GTO has also released more renderings of both the car’s exterior and of the magnificent quad-cam V-12 that will power it.
